President's Message

Thank you for your interest in the Mainland Nova Scotia Building and Construction Trades Council. We have a long and proud history of supporting the trades in mainland Nova Scotia and in providing top quality service to our clients. Our goal is to provide highly qualified and productive employees for our contractors, developers and owners of various projects. We work successfully with the Construction Management Bureau Limited and the Construction Association of Nova Scotia to enhance job opportunities for the membership of our affiliated local unions. Our members have been involved in most major construction and renovation projects during the past half-century, and we look forward to being an even more important part of future growth.

It is an exciting time to be involved in the trades. Activity is approaching a level never before seen in this province, and more new tradespeople will be required to meet this new demand and carry on from our older members.
